Nature club at GSC was formed with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of nature to the students.The fact that humen beings are always in bond with nature was always the motto of the nature club. Nature club strives to achive plastic free zone and to create better environment for the students.

Activities
The club organized awareness campaign programme to reinforce man-nature relationship to the students. Students are also made to understand the factors affecting climate changes,the causes behind floods and other natural disasters. As part of the nature club students were given field works and were asked to make a stastics of the total flora nad fauna in campus.
REPORT OF THE NATURE CLUB 2017-2018
In a meeting conducted on 5-6-2017, at the college auditorium, the Nature Club was established with Smt. Mini.K,Asst.Prof. of the Dept. of Sahitya as the convener and the Smt.Gayathri Devi G Asst.Prof of the Dept. of Vedanta as the joint convener .The meeting had elected Archa V L , Jayalekshmi .G,Indukumar M,Vishnu priya G,and Navami.N, as student representatives of the club.

- An environmental awareness class was taken by the Kerala State Saksharata Mission director Dr. Sreekala P.S at the college auditorium.
- An awareness class on “Environmental Protection and Laws” was done by Adv.Sajilal. L ,Asst. Prof. of Govt.Law college.
- Under the auspice of the Nature Club, the students of GSC celebrated Environment Day [June 5] by indulging in cleaning activities in campus and planting seeds and plants
